Oral Health Management Center

In 2024, the hospital officially established the Oral Health Management Center, which utilizes digital technology to conduct oral health management for the entire population across the entire life cycle. As a provincial pilot hospital for medical-preventive integration in Jiangsu Province, the center also launched pilot "dual consultation" outpatient services with both oral physicians and public health physicians. Through "integrated clinics," it leverages the strengths of both oral clinical and preventive fields to jointly carry out oral health prevention, screening, and management for the population.

The Oral Health Management Center offers services including oral health check-ups, primary prevention and treatment of oral health, and risk screening for oral diseases. By establishing a digital oral health examination system, it develops personalized oral health management plans. It also extends medical services through post-examination referrals, chronic disease follow-ups, and multidisciplinary consultations for complex cases. The center can conduct "digital and intelligent" oral health examinations, using three-dimensional scanning data to more accurately and intuitively acquire intraoral dental conditions, intelligently analyze health issues, and generate comprehensive oral health assessment reports. Additionally, it provides primary prevention and treatment for oral health (such as fissure sealing and fluoride application), caries risk assessment and screening, early screening for oral cancer, and detection of HPV oral infections.
