Delegation from Our Hospital Visits Poland and the Netherlands for Exchange

In early June, Professor Wang Lin, Vice President of the Chinese Stomatological Association (CSA), and Professor Yan Bin, Dean of our hospital, accompanied by Professor Pan Yongchu, Vice President, conducted an exchange visit to Poland and the Netherlands.

June 2-4: Kraków, Poland

The delegation attended the 100th Congress of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS) held in Kraków, Poland. This prestigious global event in the field of orthodontics brings together experts worldwide to showcase cutting-edge basic research findings and clinical techniques, promoting the development of orthodontics. During the congress, members of our delegation participated in multiple sessions, including "Evidence-Based Medicine in Early Orthodontic Treatment" and "Clinical Orthodontics," exchanging insights on the latest research achievements and clinical technologies.

June 5-7: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Dean Yan Bin and Vice President Pan Yongchu visited the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). ACTA is a large-scale dental center integrating medical care, education, and research, with its Education Research and Development Centre ranking among the world's leaders in disciplinary strength and international influence. Accompanied by Professor Pepijn Koopman and others, Dean Yan Bin toured ACTA's teaching laboratories, discussing advanced teaching models and potential collaboration. They also attended an international oral health seminar hosted by ACTA, listened to doctoral research presentations, and held discussions with some Chinese students and faculty members studying/working there, introducing our hospital's talent recruitment and retention policies.

This European trip played a significant and positive role in further deepening our hospital's international research collaboration, promoting disciplinary innovation and development, and enhancing the hospital's international reputation and influence. Our hospital will closely follow international trends in stomatology, actively expand channels for international exchange and cooperation, and continuously promote the thriving development of the dental medicine field.
