Vice President Yuan Hua Visits National Dental Centre Singapore for Exchange

To strengthen international academic exchange and cooperation, promote research innovation and talent development in the field of stomatology, from May 22nd to 24th, Professor Yuan Hua, Vice President of our hospital, visited the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) for exchange and attended the 26th International Conference on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ICOMS).

During the visit, Professor Yuan Hua was warmly received by Professor Goh Bee Tin, Chief Executive Officer of NDCS, and Professor Marco Peres, Director of Research and Senior Principal Investigator of the Academic Clinical Programme Office. Vice President Yuan Hua provided a detailed introduction to the achievements of our hospital in disciplinary development, clinical services, and research innovation, expressing the desire to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism with NDCS. NDCS highly commended the development accomplishments and international vision of our hospital. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including cutting-edge dental technologies, research platform development, talent development models, and clinical translational research. They unanimously agreed to hold regular academic seminars and facilitate mutual scholar exchanges in the future, jointly promoting the high-quality development of stomatology in the Asia-Pacific region.

During the visit, Vice President Yuan Hua toured NDCS's medical, educational, and research departments, gaining in-depth understanding of its innovative practices in translational research, technology development, and interdisciplinary integration. As a leading dental research institution in Southeast Asia, NDCS's research management system, laboratory operation model, and research translation pathways provided valuable insights for optimizing research platform development at our hospital.
