Rector Sergei Petrovich Rubnikovich of Belarusian State Medical University Visits Our School for Exchange

On the afternoon of October 10th, Professor Sergei Petrovich Rubnikovich, Rector of Belarusian State Medical University (BSMU), and Professor Wei Chunlei, Director of the China Office for International Exchange and Cooperation, visited our school for exchange. They were received by Professor Xu Yan, Party Secretary of our school (hospital), and Professor Yan Bin, Dean. The meeting was also attended by Professor Wu Wei, Vice Dean of the International Education School of Nanjing Medical University, Professor Pan Yongchu, Vice President of our school, Professor Yuan Hua, Vice President, and heads of relevant functional departments and clinical divisions.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the profound friendship forged through previous cooperation and exchanges. They engaged in in-depth discussions on multiple topics, including the possibility of establishing a regular cooperation system, pathways for international curriculum export and joint education programs. Discussions particularly focused on developing collaborative projects based on the respective strengths of both institutions. Both sides also shared experiences on specific initiatives such as credit recognition and the construction of shared teaching platforms.

Rector Rubnikovich expressed that the School of Stomatology at Nanjing Medical University has achieved remarkable accomplishments in education, teaching, and talent development, cultivating numerous high-caliber professionals in the medical field with outstanding academic and research achievements. He emphasized that the partnership between the two universities is enduring and ever-growing, and he looks forward to continuing to deepen mutual trust, jointly explore development opportunities, and collaboratively advance the development of stomatology education and the progress of medical technology.

During their visit, Rector Rubnikovich and his delegation also toured the Digital Experimental Teaching Center for Stomatology and several clinical departments.
