Delegation from Our Hospital Attends the 2024 FDI World Dental Congress in Turkey

From September 12th to 15th, the 2024 World Dental Congress (WDC), organized by the FDI World Dental Federation (FDI), was held in Istanbul, Turkey. A delegation from our hospital, including Professor Wang Lin, Professor Fan Yuan, and Professor Wei Xin, attended this prestigious academic event.

The FDI World Dental Federation is the world's oldest and largest dental organization, representing over one million dentists through 189 member organizations in 133 countries. FDI is dedicated to promoting optimal oral health for people worldwide and carries the mission of uniting and advancing the dental profession globally. Professor Guo Chuanbin, President of the Chinese Stomatological Association (CSA), led the Chinese delegation to the congress. He formally announced that the 2025 World Dental Congress will be held in Shanghai and warmly invited delegates from all participating countries to attend.

At the congress, faculty and students from our hospital actively participated by delivering oral presentations and presenting poster displays on clinical cases and related research. They engaged in extensive exchanges with peers, effectively demonstrating their excellence and dynamism. This major academic event provided valuable learning opportunities and an exchange platform for our delegation, further helping to broaden international perspectives and experience the appeal of diverse cultures.
